This course is delivered in collaboration with the Property Council of New Zealand
This course deals with Contract Administration of a generic construction project rather than examining a specific project, procurement model, or a specific form of Contract. The focus of the course is on administration of a Contract during the construction phase. The course is presented from the perspective of a Contract Administrator employed by a Contractor where the Principal is the manager and designer, but it is also relevant to a Contract Administrator/Project Manager/QS employed by the Principal or a Subcontractor. Completion of this workshop contributes to attaining the Contract Administration competence as part of the RICS Quantity Surveying Assessment of Professional Competence.
Recognising good and bad practice.
The need for good record keeping.
Providing other parties to a Contract with necessary information.
Avoiding claims being barred.
Collecting factual data to support monetary and time claims.
Avoiding pitfalls and common oversights.
Taking early action to maintain control.
Being aware of action to be taken at prescribed milestones and events.
Avoiding disputes by administering the Contract professionally.
Understanding various commercial processes.

Can I update my registration information?
