Tour of Dean Village | Stockbridge Market | Domingo, 27. Outubro 2019

A guided walk in a lush, green valley with a focus on key Scottish architectural features. Stroll off the beaten path up the picturesque banks of the Water of Leith to marvel at the goddess Higeia within a Georgian Neoclassical mineral water temple, then take in the 1830s stonework of Dean Bridge designed by Thomas Telford. After discovering the picturesque Baronial legacy of the milling village, learn of Victorian social housing. Lastly, walk through a chic 19th-century cemetery to see two exceedingly glamorous Georgian orphanages now converted into modern art galleries.
There will be around 50 stairs and some uneven surfaces on this walking tour.
